It holds 5 or 6 credit cards (or smooth cards such as a driver's license) and when I use it my cash is loose in one of my pockets. This will still likely be my "go to" set up for cards and cash as I find it very convenient. I ordered the item being reviewed for the times when I would like my cash to be contained in some type of holder. This wallet serves both the pop up credit card function and securing cash function very well and with style. The pop up compartment will hold 5 to 7 credit cards (depending on how many are embossed) and comes with a handy tool to "push" cards out of the compartment if they ever get stuck. The item is made special by being constructed of real leather rather than faux leather. My only complaint is that the wallet is still "plumper" than I would like, but I am not certain there are many options that are much slimmer if you want a wallet that will hold both cards and cash.

There is also a little tool to help you eject manually in case something gets stuck or too many cards. It is a trifold and if you overload it will be pretty thick. I actually ordered the wallet for a teenage boy. He will not have enough money or cards to make it too thick. It has a nice slim look and should slide easily into a teens back pocket. It appears well made and should last a long time.

The credit card pop-up feature makes it so easy to retrieve a card instead of trying to dig it out of a slot. The leather is very soft, and it is very compact, although not slim. The money slot is short, so the bills hang/fold over and make the wallet too thick. I guess that's where the minimalist feature helps to keep extra stuff in your wallet to a minimum. There is an auxiliary screwdriver included just in case your cards get jammed. The design is sleek and modern, making it a stylish wallet and the RFID is a plus. The quality is impressive, and it feels durable. Overall, I'm very pleased with this wallet and highly recommend it.This is a nice gift for birthdays or Christmas.

About the only thing I use a wallet for is holding credit cards and my highway patrol ID card. While I wish there was a little more storage space on the inside of this case it really does all I need it to do, while making getting my regular use credit cards available to me with the flip of the switch on the bottom. I still carry mine in my rear pocket - I'm not cool and young enough to carry it in the front pocket - and it sits there just fine. This is a very convenient way to get to your cards.

It is tri fold and has the credit card ejection feature and stores a fair amount of credit cards comfortably. This accounts for the fact that it is thicker. It has a soft suede type leather with a rich appearance. It is a light shade neutral brown with very even stitching and appears to be very durable. Given the folds on the inside it essentially has 6 pockets, including the see through one used for an id/driver's license. The magnetic closure is stout but easy to open.A great feature is the card ejection. This ejects the credit cards in a fan like pattern - so much easier to choose your card than the minimalist rf blocking wallets. I've tried it with 6 cards and it does this really well. With the minimalist designs, I find it difficult to choose a particular card.All in all this is a very nice wallet which is attractive, durable, and works well. With the current discount offered at the time of this writing, it is hard to beat.

After I put everything into this wallet, it gets pretty thick, but I think it's just under the cusp of being considered a fat/large wallet. There are so many compartments/pockets. I love the look of the wallet, but the alcantara feel is a little overstimulating for me, so this will be a gift for my brother in law. The quality of the wallet as a whole is great, and I feel confident in the pop up switch on the side. The metal portion itself can hold up to 7 (non-embossed) cards, but it does get harder to slide with more cards. Would highly recommend this wallet for anyone needing an upgrade.
